ASDRP Student Researchers, Mark McMahan and Edward Njoo Thermo Fisher Scientific

Student Researchers from the Njoo Lab, Wang Lab and Pazzi Lab had the privilege of visiting with our good friends at Thermo Fisher Scientific in San Jose on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. All of the ASDRP Student Researchers had the opportunity to visit the Raman and FTIR Optics Demo Lab, view the manufacturing floor and ask questions to the Thermo Fisher Scientific Ph.D. level staff scientists.

The Thermo Fisher Scientific staff is incredible and made all of the ASDRP student researchers feel welcome. A huge thanks to Mark McMahon, Sales Engineer, and 2 of his amazing Ph.D. sales and customer support team engineers for the tour, answering our student reacher questions and for the wonderful hospitality!
